Greek Yogurt Ranch Dressing

Easy Greek Yogurt Ranch

This 3 ingredient greek yogurt ranch dressing is a much lighter version of everyone’s favorite dressing with extra protein. The great thing about this recipe is that you can make it thicker or thinner based on what you are doing with it!

I have been making this dressing for years because it is so easy and quick to prepare. I love when I can add in Greek yogurt to add some protein to any recipe. We usually have a batch made up of it in the fridge at all times to use on salads or to dip chicken nuggets or taquitos in (try this Buffalo Chicken Taquitos recipe).

I prefer to make it in a dressing shaker for easier pouring, but the mason jars are perfect for a thicker version of the dressing that may need to be spooned out, not poured.

Great for dipping with quesadillas!

What you need:

  1. Salad Shaker or Mason Jars: These are the best to shake and to store dressings in. I usually have a few dressings in the fridge in either of these containers.
  2. Olive Oil: I am not too picky with my olive oil and never like to run out so just buy the Costco jugs of it.
  3. Balsamic Vinegar: Again, I am not too picky about this either. I usually just order the Walmart brand on my weekly grocery pick-up order.
  4. Greek Yogurt: I am picky about this one because Fage is the only one I use in my recipes, and I am familiar with the consistency and think that it is superior to most Greek yogurt. Plus Costco sells it, so I always have it in my fridge.
  5. Olive Oil Mayo: Again, I am pickier about this one for and that it is Olive Oil Mayo, but it contains less trans fat and more HDL fats, which I prefer in my diet. I have not tried with non-fat or low fat versions, but let me know if you do!
  6. Minced Garlic: This is a new one for me because I used to think that powdered garlic created similar outcomes and was simpler, but I was wrong. Fresh, minced garlic is so much better and just as easy to store in the fridge.
