Dressings & Sauces

Burger Salad Dressing

I have been obsessed with the Burger Salad Dressing for the last few weeks. I have experimented with several recipes and adapted many, but this is the version that has the perfect mix of sweet and salty with a kick of pepper.

Creamy Balsamic Vinaigrette

Olive oil and balsamic is the go-to dressing when I have nothing else for my salads. We always have these two ingredients, but I wanted to elevate this staple and make it creamy. This is where this Creamy Balsamic Vinaigrette came from!

Creamy Sriracha Sauce

There is no doubt that sriracha sauce is one of the most popular sauces in our house (of course just by the adults at this point), and I love a spicy dipping sauce and especially love some spice to my salad dressings. This Creamy Sriracha Sauce is a perfect dipping sauce and salad dressing in one.

Greek Yogurt Ranch

This 3 ingredient greek yogurt ranch dressing is a much lighter version of everyone’s favorite dressing with extra protein. The great thing about this recipe is that you can make it thicker or thinner based on what you are doing with it!

Honey Sriracha Vinaigrette

This dressing is a MoJo household staple. I always have a container ready for a quick side salad or even an entree salad that my husband and I have at least once a week (salad ingredients with this recipe). If you might be scared away by the thought of a spicy dressing, you can certainly hold back on sriracha, but I made this for 4 other couples on New Years Eve, and it was suitable for all. Not kid tested; my kids “hate salad”.

Salad Recipes & Ideas

Balsamic Brussel Sprouts

This is one of my favorite toppings on a summer salad paired with some grilled salmon. These brussel sprouts would also be great paired with Sweet Potato Chunks and Aidells turkey sausages.

Easy Sweet Potato Chunks

These are the perfect addition to any season’s salad and pair well with salmon and sausage! I usually throw either brussel sprouts (see above) or broccoli on the pan with them to add even more veggies to my salads.

How to Pickle Red Onions

Pickled red onions are a game changer for salads. I always have a jar on hand because they add so much to every salad combination. This process is easy and they last longer pickled than they do in a container in the fridge.
